Five years ago, Plaksha began with solely its foundational beliefs. Over time, the movement gained momentum and like-minded individuals joined the mission.
In 2023, we saw Plaksha become a source of inspiration for many thought leaders, rallying them around a shared mission. Neeraj Aggarwal, Chair of the Board of Trustees at Plaksha University and Chair Asia-Pacific at Boston Consulting Group, says, “Plaksha University and the core values behind its very idea are very close to my heart. It was born out of a dream shared by four friends and their belief in collective philanthropy. Driven by the passion to create a template for a 21st-century university, we wanted Plaksha to inspire others and be a true catalyst in Indian education”.
Motivated by this passion and to amplify Plaksha’s impact, we curated a gathering in Singapore. Insightful discussions unfolded with industry leaders and esteemed guests, including Kumaran Periasamy, the High Commissioner of India in Singapore. These conversations centered around Plaksha's potential to contribute significantly to the global landscape of innovation and entrepreneurship, creating a truly competitive ecosystem. 
Later last year, in New York City, we could feel the same energy and enthusiasm. 'Reimagining STEM Education and Research in India', was attended by thought leaders and visionaries eager to contribute to reimagining the education landscape in India. During the panel discussion featuring Prof. S Shankar Sastry, Founding Chancellor of Plaksha University, Chandrika Tandon, Founder and Chair of Tandon Capital Associates, and Dr. Mukesh Aghi, President and CEO of USISPF, the idea of Plaksha serving as a playbook to motivate institutions to enhance themselves was discussed.
The afternoon was hosted by His Excellency Randhir Jaiswal, the Consul General of India in New York City, and organized in collaboration with the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) and Indiaspora.
Closer home, Plaksha sessions in Mumbai and Delhi got houseful attendance by CXOs keen to exchange ideas on current and future trends in technology education and research and to collaborate with Plaksha to make a difference.
Looking ahead, we remain dedicated to the ideals that have shaped Plaksha's trajectory. As we navigate the exciting road ahead, we invite more visionaries to join the Plaksha mission and contribute to reimagining education in India and beyond.
