The Technology Leaders Program admission process (Class of 2023)

The first-of-its-kind, Plaksha University’s Technology Leaders Program (TLP) interweaves Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with real-world application, leadership, and mentorship. Our year long, fully residential, post-graduate program seeks to nurture technology leaders of tomorrow who will lead organizations, build path-breaking ventures and help solve real world challenges for India and across the globe.

Admissions for 2023 are now open. The selection process is rigorous and aims to understand the journey of the applicant- academic, personal, and professional - to ensure that they are a good fit for the program.

Applicants are expected to complete every step of the process very sincerely and share as much information as possible.

Step 1: Submission of Application Form

To get started, fill out the application form. It will capture your academic history, work experience, internships, achievements, extra-curricular interests, projects, certifications, and other professional milestones. The two essay questions will help us understand your thought process and articulation. This is an elimination round - each application is carefully evaluated and assessed.

Timelines: Shortlisted candidates will receive an invite for the Tech Aptitude Test within three to six working days from the submission of the application.

Step 2: Tech Aptitude Test

The TLP program requires a strong background in mathematics, logical reasoning, and programming skills.

The tech aptitude test will evaluate these competencies in an AI-proctored environment. This two-hour long test has the following components: Cognitive Abilities (MCQs): Probability, Linear Algebra, Logical Reasoning; and Programming Abilities (coding environment): Any high level language can be used to answer two programming questions

Timeline: Those who qualify will receive an intimation, within two to four working days, for the personal interview round.

Note for applicants with valid GRE/GMAT scores: If you already have these scores with you, you can request an exemption from the tech aptitude test. The admissions team will evaluate your request and make a decision based on your scores and past performance/experience in maths and programing.

Step 3: Personal Interview

The personal interview round is aimed at understanding your alignment with the program, knowing your interests and liking, assessing how TLP will benefit you, and mapping your attributes which will benefit the TLP cohort. In this round, you will interact with a panel of faculty, alumni, Founders, and Directors of Plaksha University.

Timeline: This is the last round of the admission process. If selected, expect to hear from us within two to four days after appearing for the interview.

Financial Aid Discussion: If shortlisted, we will contact you to enquire about any requirement for financial aid; eligibility will be based on the family’s financial situation and performance during the admission process.

Step 4: Admission Offer

On completing all the steps of the admission process, we will share our decision with you. You will be given 15 days to accept or decline the admission offer. Should you choose to proceed, you are expected to comply with the instructions stated in the decision email.

Rounds of Admissions Process

The admissions process at TLP will take place in three rounds:

Round 1: 11 October 2021 -12 December 2021
Round 2: 15 December 2021–30 January 2022
Round 3: 2 February 2022 -20 March 2022

Please note that we follow a rolling admissions process within each round. The sooner the applicant completes step 1 of the admissions process, the faster the person will know the results of their application. In case the program intake (60 seats) is filled from the initial rounds of the admissions, the remaining rounds will be void.
