In our dynamic world, convergence of finance and technology is becoming increasingly important. To better equip our students to tackle real-world challenges we inaugurated the Jefferies Finhub at our Mohali campus. This experiential learning space integrates finance with technology and makes our curriculum more applied.
Here students can access research and training simulation tools supported by Rifinitiv, a LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) business that will not only enable them to gain essential skills in understanding financial data and improve their market awareness but also give them real life experience of participating in live market scenarios.
The inauguration was marked by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Aashish Agarwal, Country Head - India, Jefferies and Rajiv Hingoo, MD and COO, Jefferies India. As seasoned investment banking and financial services professionals, they shared their insights on the current economic climate and the integration of technology in finance.
Our students asked them questions ranging from their vision for Jefferies Finhub, learnings from their professional journeys, increasing importance of technology in the field of finance, to the myriad opportunities and challenges in the sector for emerging entrepreneurs.
