About us
The Info Edge Center for Entrepreneurship aims to nurture a culture of innovation and creativity among students. This is achieved through a wide range of activities and initiatives designed to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit in budding entrepreneurs. Under the guidance of some of India's most prominent business leaders, students gain valuable insights, knowledge, and mentorship to help shape their ideas.
The collaboration between Plaksha University and Info Edge to establish the Center for Entrepreneurship seeks to empower students to create impact. With a vision for a future driven by innovation, the Info Edge Center for Entrepreneurship equips students to address the challenges of tomorrow.
Plaksha Incubation Centre
Plaksha Incubation Centre (PIC), supported by the Info Edge Center for Entrepreneurship, is the launchpad for your entrepreneurial ideas. It helps through:
Mentoring
Book your office hours with the team. We can connect you with Plaksha founders, PIC mentors and industry leaders.
Founder-friendly pathways
The Plaksha Entrepreneurship Policy works in tandem with Academics to support you through gap semester or placement holiday.
Tinkering and Prototyping Support
Plaksha provides you the labs, Makerspace and innovation spaces for you to test your ideas and build prototypes.
Incubation Support
Looking for space, grants, legal support for registering your startup? PIC has you covered.
IP & Tech Transfer
PIC works in partnership with the Office of Research to help you patent your ideas and commercially transfer your technology.
Inspire, Educate, Accelerate
Plaksha recognises entrepreneurship as an integral pathway for students and alumni to translate ideas into ventures, generate societal impact, and contribute to innovation-led economic growth. The IEA framework is how that intent becomes a pipeline: every student enters at Inspire; the most committed emerge from Accelerate as funded founders.

Tinkering with ideas
Building curiosity and entrepreneurial mindset across the student body creates a campus culture where questioning assumptions is the norm.

Building the foundation
Structured learning by founders, CEOs and operators provides the skills, frameworks and mindsets to move from ideas to ventures with academic rigour.

Turning students into founders
Direct support for venture growth through access to capital, mentorship, and connections to incubators and investors with PIC as the structural anchor.
Converting Prototypes into Funded Ventures
Accelerating the journey from student to founder by creating access to investors and incubators and facilitating mentorship from industry leaders.
