Overview

The Binny Bansal Institute for Inventing the Future (IIF) at Plaksha University is envisioned as a global hub for AI research and innovation, advancing technologies that predict, accelerate, and humanize the future. Building on Plaksha's academic and research ecosystem, IIF will drive breakthroughs in AI+X to address grand challenges in Space Robotics, Healthcare, Water Security, and Smart City. Anchored by the School of AI and Computer Science and domain-focused centers of excellence, it will integrate AI expertise with translational innovation. IIF will bridge the Valley of Death by advancing high-potential projects from early-stage research to scalable implementation. With a strong focus on solutions for the Global South, it aims to shape global AI leadership and influence. An illustrative initiative is the Human Digital Twin project, which will leverage AI, next-generation sequencing data, imaging technologies, and health data platforms to advance personalized medicine and improve healthcare outcomes for the Indian population.
