Overview
The Master of Science (Research) is a part-time degree for working professionals. Students remain in full-time employment while completing the program over two academic years, drawing research problems directly from their professional practice.
The program sits at Level 6.5 of the National Higher Education Qualifications Framework, aligned with the UGC Curriculum and Credit Framework for Postgraduate Programs. Coursework and assessments are structured to accommodate work schedules, with flexible assessment timing where required.
Of the program's 40 credits, 28 are research credits. Research is evaluated through progress reviews, seminar presentations, publications where applicable, and a thesis defense before examiners. Students with strong performance can transfer into Plaksha's PhD program, carrying forward qualifying credits already completed.
