Joining Plaksha University was driven by my passion for interdisciplinary research in healthcare and my desire to be a part of a forward-thinking institution. Plaksha’s vision to create a tech university that blends cutting-edge research with a multidisciplinary approach to education resonated deeply with my own aspirations. The research ecosystem at Plaksha is robust and dynamic, offering access to a network of esteemed academics and industry leaders. This environment has enabled me to delve deeper into my research interests and collaborate on projects that have real-world impact. This encouraged me to explore new areas and broaden my research horizons.
At Plaksha, I have been challenged to go beyond my research comfort zone, learn new technologies, or even look at the same problem from an altogether different engineering lens. I have had the opportunity to innovate and experiment with traditional teaching methodologies - to integrate experiential learning, project-based courses, and technology-enhanced teaching into my curriculum. I have found that encouraging students to engage in hands-on projects and real-world problem-solving has been particularly rewarding and effective; and this has invigorated my own teaching practice.
The Plaksha community is vibrant and supportive. It is inspiring to be surrounded by like-minded individuals who are equally passionate about making a difference through research and education. The collaborative culture among faculty, staff and students has been incredibly enriching. I have benefited from the exchange of ideas and the diverse perspectives that are a hallmark of the Plaksha experience. Moreover, the university’s focus on continuous learning and development has enabled me to grow as an educator and researcher.
My journey at Plaksha has been marked by opportunities to innovate, collaborate and grow. I am happy to be part of an institution that is tirelessly working towards reimagining higher education and redefining standards of research advancements.
