Overview
The MCKS Thrive Room is designed to help students pause, reflect, and recharge within the rhythm of campus life. Supported by the Master Choa Kok Sui Trust Fund, the space brings together mental, physical, and intellectual wellbeing in one environment. At Plaksha, wellbeing is not treated as an add-on it is part of how the University builds resilient, thoughtful, and balanced technology leaders.
Through therapy sessions, mindfulness practices, movement-based activities, and expert-led conversations, the room provides a calm and inclusive setting for students to care for themselves and for one another. It also supports a broader campus culture where wellbeing, belonging, and personal growth are woven into the student experience.

Across campus, students also benefit from online and offline support structures, including wellbeing resources, counseling access, silent corners, reading spaces, and a full-time Student Life team that helps create a caring campus environment.
This integrated approach allows Plaksha to support students in practical, everyday ways, from movement and mindfulness to counseling, community care, and skill-building for emotional wellbeing.
