Dr Divyanshu Jain is a Visiting Faculty for the Data Science, Economics, and Business major at Plaksha. His research interests include organizational economics, education, labor and sports. His work combines quasi-experimental methods with rich administrative data, and includes ongoing projects on gender gaps in science education, the role of monitoring precision in performance, and the economics of sports refereeing.
Prior to his doctoral training, Dr Jain worked in the investment banking division at PwC, an experience that informs his applied perspectives on finance, incentives, and decision-making. He is interested in teaching courses in investments and behavioral finance, alongside economics courses that connect microeconomics concepts with real-world applications.
