About
Prof Sanjeev Khosla is a Professor at Plaksha University. His research focuses on the epigenetic dialogue between species, cells, and molecules. His laboratory has been investigating the epigenetic circuitry underlying the regulation of gene expression by environmental cues during both development and disease, to uncover the role of epigenetic mechanisms in the evolution of microbe-host interactions.
Prof Khosla completed his doctoral research at the Indian Institute of Science, followed by postdoctoral research at the Babraham Institute and the Wellcome Trust/Cancer Research UK Institute, Cambridge, UK. He served as a Staff Scientist at the Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics for more than 18 years and as the Director of the Institute of Microbial Technology for six years.
