Prof Shakti Banerjee is a Professor at Plaksha, a design educator, creative technologist, and professional designer with more than three decades of industry and academic experience. A National Institute of Design Ahmedabad alumnus, he has worked across visual effects, film, broadcasting, advertising, and design education. He previously headed Digital Game Design at NID Bengaluru and conceived the Immersive Media Design master’s programme at MIT Institute of Design. He holds a PhD in Interaction Design from UPES.
Prof Banerjee’s Scopus-indexed research examines how emerging media and design can support learning and social impact. His current work focuses on immersive and interaction design, including AR/VR pedagogy and serious games.
