Srijita Chakraburty

Dr Srijita Chakraburty is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Plaksha. She completed a PhD in Learning Sciences at Indiana University Bloomington and brings experience in computer science, educational technology, and K–12 teaching, including work as a Teach For India Fellow and as a technical analyst in the software industry.

Dr Chakraburty studies how children learn AI and computing concepts and how theory-driven, developmentally appropriate experiences can support that learning. Her current work designs AI learning progressions, assessments, and interactive learning environments, and examines how scaffolded inquiry, dialogue, and collaborative learning support conceptual understanding and computational thinking.
