Bio
Ajay Bhardwaj is the CEO, Founder and Managing Director of Anthem Biosciences. He started his career with Max India and then worked for Biocon, starting off as one of the earliest team members at Biocon, who helped build the Company to a USD 600 Mn+ Market Cap Organization (in 2006). As the President, Marketing, at Biocon he was instrumental in Biocon’s rapid growth and spearheaded the company’s foray into new areas like life sciences, contract research and clinical research.
Along with Co-founders, Dr. Ganesh Sambasivam and KC Ravindra, he started Anthem Biosciences in 2006. Over the course of the last decade and half, they have scaled up Anthem Biosciences into India’s fastest growing Biotech CDMO Companies, and a preferred Partner-of-Choice for Big Pharma and Emerging Biotech Innovators globally.
He completed his BTech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1982 and received his Masters from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA after receiving a Fellowship.
