About Vasudha Chopra

Dr. Vasudha Chopra is an experimental and behavioral economist specializing in environmental and organizational economics. Her research primarily focuses on stated preference survey design, group contests, and goal dynamics in team settings. Integrating applied microeconomic theory with laboratory and field experiments, she explores significant issues in environmental and organizational economics, often incorporating insights from behavioral economics. Her current projects delve into political polarization, gender norms in leadership, and the efficacy of survey methodologies.
Prior to joining Plaksha, she served as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She earned her PhD from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and her Masters from TERI School of Advanced Sciences, New Delhi.
