The University administration and the engineering teams on ground have been working round the clock for the past few days, in these inclement weather conditions, to ensure safety and well-being of everyone on campus.
Due to the unprecedented and abnormal rainfall over the last few days in Mohali and adjoining areas the water and electricity supply to the campus have been affected.
The campus is fully functional and is running on its power source to ensure un-interrupted electricity since the 9th of July and will continue to do so till the electricity supply is restored. Whilst the raw water supply from municipality has also been affected, the University has made sufficient arrangements for drinking water and tap water supplies.
We are monitoring the situation closely and are well equipped and stocked for the coming days even if normal supplies from state boards are not restored.
