Bio

Dr Ritesh Malik is a physician-turned-entrepreneur who has spent the last decade building companies, backing founders, and shaping institutions at the intersection of India's economic transformation. Trained as a physician, Ritesh transitioned into entrepreneurship in 2015 when he founded Innov8 Coworking, a Y Combinator-backed startup (Summer 2016) that reimagined flexible workspaces in India. Under his leadership, Innov8 scaled to more than 60 locations nationwide, becoming one of India's most prominent co-working platforms before its acquisition by SoftBank-backed OYO, one of the notable exits in India's startup ecosystem.

Following his exit, Ritesh shifted toward long-term capital allocation through his family office, The Mangrove Holdings, which oversees a diversified portfolio spanning public equities, early- and growth-stage startups, operating businesses, and real estate. The family office has backed over 125 startups across mobility, aerospace, deep tech, consumer brands, health tech, cybersecurity, and media including Ather Energy, Agnikul Cosmos, Blue Tokai, Inito, Safe Security, STAGE, The Viral Fever, and Nothing. He positions himself as an operator-backed capital partner, bringing strategic insight, governance depth, and long-term alignment to founders.

In parallel, Ritesh operates wholly owned businesses close to his roots: Radix Healthcare, a healthcare platform in New Delhi, and Anardana Hospitality, a contemporary Indian dining venture. Beyond commerce, Ritesh invests in institutions built to outlast individuals. He serves on the Advisory Board of MIT's Kuo Sharper Center for Prosperity and Entrepreneurship and on the board of Netaji Subhas University of Technology, New Delhi.

He is deeply engaged in policy as Founder, Director, and Executive Council Member of the Alliance of Digital India Foundation (ADIF), a not-for-profit representing India's digital startups in regulatory matters. In philanthropy, he's a part of the founding circle of Accelerate India Philanthropy (AIP), encouraging structured giving among Indian family offices, with interests spanning education reform, cybersecurity awareness, startup policy, and accessible healthcare.

Across his roles as founder, capital allocator, operator, board member, and philanthropist, Ritesh's work reflects a deliberate shift from building companies to building ecosystems combining capital, governance, and conviction to support the next generation of innovators.
