Plaksha is committed to ensuring that no deserving student is denied access to education because of their personal financial constraints. This is made possible through our generous need-based financial aid and some merit-based scholarships.
The admissions process at Plaksha is ‘need-blind’. A need-blind process ensures that the basis for admission to TLP is performance alone.
Once admitted, the Office of Financial Aid ensures that adequate financial aid is provided. The percentage of aid is calculated based on the income, wealth, and expenses of the applicant’s family.
Limited merit scholarships are also available.
All applicants are considered for merit scholarships by default.
The ‘Ayyalasomayajula Lalitha’ Scholarship Fund provides financial aid to deserving women students from a less privileged background pursuing full-time postgraduate programs at Plaksha University.
Mrs. Ayyalasomayajula Lalitha was India’s first female to become a professional engineer. Throughout her career, she was a champion for women in engineering, granting interviews with magazines and newspapers about the value of women in STEM careers and encouraging women to attend conferences and enroll in school.
This scholarship fund is instituted and initially supported by the A.T.E. Chandra Foundation (ATECF) . ATECF manages the philanthropic capital of Archana & Amit Chandra and A.T.E.. The Foundation works closely with leading Indian and global players in the social sector space in pursuing its objectives of creating a more equitable, inclusive and sustainable society
We have partnered with multiple banks/institutions to enable easy access to education loans to fund your expenses. The details of process shall be shared with the candidates at the time of selection. Some of our prominent partners include IDFC FIRST Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Credila, Grad Right, Propelld and Eduvanz.
