YTS+

YTS+ (formerly Young Technology Scholars) is a two-week immersive summer program for high schoolers interested in biology, economics, mathematics, or physics but seeking unconventional career paths. It offers 3 tracks, helping students discover subjects that genuinely excite them beyond exam-focused learning.

Overview

2 week summer experience for those who are curious about the 'Why'

YTS+ is a two-week immersive summer program for tinkerers, makers-builders and problem solvers. Earlier called Young Technology Scholars, it now has multiple tracks for high schoolers who are interested in subjects like biology, economics, mathematics and physics but do not want to follow the conventional paths of becoming doctors, economists, mathematicians or physicists.

It goes beyond memorising formulas or learning concepts for assessments and exams. It helps students figure out which topics and subjects excite them enough to stay up late and which ones they might want to pursue in the future. It has 3 exciting tracks for students to choose from.

Choose a Track

After an initial common learning phase, students choose a track to explore ideas across engineering, mathematics, biology and economics.

Testimonials

Hear from our students about their experiences in the program.

  • YTS gave me a deeper understanding of data science and how it works in the real world. I also got a chance to connect with like minded individuals and learned through hands on project.
  • In school, I think we learnt more from our textbooks and course material, but here in YTS, I had the opportunity to do more of hands-on kind of learning. Every concept that I learn, every formula that I learn, directly applied back to what I was physically doing with my project. That was really interesting.”
  • From the day I came into Plaksha, I have attended many lectures and all of them have something hands-on to do. From looking into microscopes and going to actual lakes to collect samples and research talks that range from business ideas to life learning, all are really unique and something that I have never done before."
