The Young Creators League endeavors to cultivate creative thinking, problem-solving prowess, and expertise in students, providing them with the tangible tools to embark on transformative entrepreneurial journeys.

January 27th, 2024, India - Plaksha University, a new-age university that is reimagining technology education and research in India with cutting-edge technology programs, hosted the Young Creators League 2024. This unique initiative, aimed at high school students, is an innovation challenge that brought together 50 school teams from 15 states. These talented young minds exhibited prototypes, showcasing their solutions to real-world challenges aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).

The League seeks to give young people with talent the chance to transform their concepts into works of art that improve the world around them. This one-of-a-kind initiative championed by Plaksha University further intends to empower students to take charge and address local problems.

Commenting on the success of the League, Prof. Rudra Pratap, Founding Vice-Chancellor of Plaksha University said "We eagerly look forward to the Young Creators League (YCL) where the ability of young students to tackle some of the most pressing global challenges is showcased. This year we saw that the Young Creators League transcended the boundaries of a mere competition to emerge as a dynamic platform where these students not only presented their innovative projects, but also asserted themselves as budding changemakers, armed with the power to shape a better, more sustainable future. The depth of their creativity and the impact of their endeavors truly reflect the transformative potential inherent in the next generation of innovators and problem solvers."

Plaksha University's Young Creators League is evidence of its dedication to fostering the next wave of creative thinkers. Students in classes 8 through 12 were encouraged to take on UN SDG-related challenges this year. More than a thousand high school students took part in the program, and fifty outstanding teams were chosen to showcase their creative prototypes at the Grand Exhibition. Students presented projects like braille printers, smart zebra crossings, protection suits for drainage cleaners, waste segregation systems, and speech therapy systems. The teams that were chosen showcased prototypes that intricately tackled a range of issues, such as those concerning the environment, energy and smart cities, and good health and wellbeing.
