Nitin Monga is a first-generation entrepreneur driven by a deep belief that technology is magic. It can be used to unlock dignity, equity, and opportunity especially for those who have historically been left out. With over two decades of experience across governance, grassroots transformation, and enterprise technology, he has focused on building systems that solve real, large-scale problems.
Growing up with a close view of rural India’s aspirations and constraints, Nitin’s professional journey has always been deeply personal. In 2007, he founded WE Excel with a bold idea: to solve real, persistent problems in India through e-governance. The early days were uncertain, but fueled by clarity of purpose and hands-on leadership, he built a respected e-governance solutions company from the ground up.
Nitin is best known for conceiving E-Kharid / Anaajkharid, a now-benchmark public food procurement platform that revolutionized how farmers in Haryana and Punjab sell their crops and receive payments. What sets him apart is not just the scale of the platforms he has built, but his instinct for public good, empathy for the last-mile user, and discipline in building trust with institutions and citizens alike.
His approach blends visionary thinking with quiet resilience, never chasing headlines, always focused on systemic value. Whether it is transforming the public education system through personalized digital learning or building India’s next-generation ERP engine for the public sector, Nitin focuses on not just building technology but long-term capacity.
He also co-founded Appworx, iProfit, and Cropbiz.
Beyond products, he invests deeply in people and ecosystems. As a Co-founder at SACC India, he mentors early-stage startups from Tier 2 and rural belts, believing that empowering youth and women to solve local problems is India’s greatest untapped advantage. Under his guidance, SACC has become one of the most trusted incubation platforms in North India, reaching 300,000+ youth and supporting 500+ startups.
In every room he is in, Nitin brings calm clarity, a systems perspective, and deep personal integrity. His work is about simplifying complexity, amplifying impact, and creating infrastructure that quietly empowers millions.
Looking ahead, Nitin is focused on collaborating with like-minded people and organizations to shape public digital infrastructure that is inclusive, intelligent, and rooted in India’s realities, with a strong belief that technology can accelerate India’s journey from a developing to a developed nation.
