Bio
Subrata Mitra is a Partner at Accel India since 2008. He co-founded Erasmic Venture Fund and helped launch Accel’s India office.
With a focus on AI, consumer and fintech, he has backed iconic startups such as Flipkart, Myntra and Curefit. He was ranked number 38 on the 2023 Forbes Midas List. He brings over four decades of operational and investment expertise, mentoring founders and scaling ventures globally.
He holds a bachelors from IIT Kanpur, a masters from Delaware, and a PhD from the University of Illinois.
